1:1 Book Project Intensive | Application Only
This is for the deepest and most focused one-on-one work with me and your book.
Over one focused month, we take a strategic look at your book project, whether you're preparing to submit, finishing a proposal, or figuring out how to turn what you have into something agents and editors can position and sell.
You bring the pages, and I’ll bring an editorial and market lens, a clear roadmap, and the honest feedback the project actually needs for your project to be successful.
What’s included
Up to 50 pages of material submitted to me for review. Your proposal, sample chapters, manuscript pages, or a combination from one book project.
A 60-minute strategy call, before I read. We will discuss your goals, your concerns, the state of the project, and what you need this work to accomplish.
The full editorial review. I read closely and assess the project at the highest level: concept, positioning, structure, voice, audience, commercial potential, and what is or isn’t working.
The editorial memo. You will receive an in-depth memo from me about what to keep, change, sharpen, expand, along with comments throughout your pages and my recommendations for a strong path forward.
Recorded video feedback. A private walkthrough of my notes you can return to throughout revision.
A 60-minute action-planning call. After you've sat with the memo: we go through your questions, your next three moves, revision priorities, writing assignments, and your agent and submission strategy.
A progress check-in, one month later. We reconnect, troubleshoot, and make sure you know exactly what comes next.
Who it’s for
Someone who has started a book project and wants me to give them a roadmap. You may be preparing to query, revising a proposal or chapters, unsure whether the concept is strong enough, or stuck between a promising idea and a sellable book.
Many of my clients are founders, executives, and experts for whom the book is a career asset credibility, speaking, the “wrote the book on it” effect. I read your pages with that outcome in mind.
